In June, our Digital and Healthy Lifestyles Working Groups hosted two workshops featuring leaders from the healthcare industry and our Coalition Partners. These workshops are part of the European Health and Well-being Deal campaign.
On 13 June our Digital Working Group organised a workshop on "The new AI health paradigm: Real-world cases shaping the future of healthcare and well-being”. Our Coalition Partners delved into their latest AI advancements in healthcare, then discussed with our panelists the far and wide applications of digital solutions in health and well-being.
Our esteemed speakers included Derya Sahin from OECD, Yiannis Tolias from the European Commission, Velislava Petrova from The International Center for Future Generations, and Tobias D. Gantner from HealthCare Futurists GmbH. The session was expertly moderated by Janette Hughes, Director of Planning and Performance at the Digital Health & Care Innovation Centre and Chair of our Digital Working Group.
The Healthy Lifestyles Working Group hosted their workshop on 27 June. The session addressed the topic “Prioritising the well-being of the workforce: challenges, lessons learnt and recommendations to tackle the workforce crisis".
The workshop welcomed insightful speakers from the industry Lyudmil Ninov from EHMA - European Health Management Association, Rebekah Smith from IBM, Camille Roux from Mental Health Europe, Katherine de Bienassis from OECD, and Matthias Wismar from European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies. The session was moderated by David Somekh from EHFF European Health Futures Forum and Chair of our Healthy Lifestyles Working Group. Our coalition Chair Vytenis Andriukaitis was one of the participants in this fruitful discussion.
